Big Shift

From selling away the condo when the property price is high, his dad decide to move the whole family including his 4 cats to their owned 3-room flat at Bedok for the time being.

His sister finally returned from France, but the property price is still freaking high to get a landed property, but left with no choice his sister had to shift to his cousin's place as the 3-room flat can't fit all in.

After a long search, finally they got a townhouse located along East Coast Road. As expected, landed property isn't so accessible without a car, it actually only affecting me as each of them actually own a car, so no big deal about that.

Finally big shifting today, I'm sitting alone in the living room waiting for the workers to get the water hose fixed & blogging at the same time now. My boyfriend is busy unpacking his stuffs in his room on the 3rd level.

Climbing up & down the stairs is really such a bitch!! My legs feeling so sore & tired now, I starting to hate climbing the stairs, why is his room on the highest level?!? WHY?!?

I'm sitting in Bedok Raffles Medical now waiting for my queue number to be called. Been so long since I feel so horrible, I was like on sleeping drugs since Friday, keep sleeping & sleeping, only by falling into deep sleep will make me feel slightly better.

My body like gonna give way in no time, I feeling aching all over, especially my neck!! Initially thought the non-stop sneezing is cause by the dust while packing my boyfriend's room, but thing just don't get any better, maybe even worst!

Sore-throat, headache, running nose, body's aching, both nose & ears block, what can be worst!! What taking the doctor so long, I need my bed so badly now!

The Doraemon mooncakes that we ordered was delivered to my office yesterday.

Initially the delivery day & timing was fixed yesterday between 3 - 5pm, then I realise I actually planned for 1/2day leave, so I request XH to delivery the item to my office before 2pm. If not because of my request, XH wouldn't have met an accident yesterday, felt real bad about it & I ended up cancel my leave too.

Thank you XH & his wife for the coordination, everyone receive the Mooncake with a great smile on their face. The carrier is really mad cute, even my boyfriend's mum love it so much.

Absolutely a BIG NO!! Okay, maybe a minority of “weird” men love women with unshaved, but I’m rather sure that most guys will step back seeing those underarm “bushes”, it just so DISGUSTING! Yah, of course I know it a nature thing having hair growing under your arm, but it just so unsightly to have it exposed to the public. Ladies, please bear that in mind, if you decide to step out of your house wearing sleeveless top, basic self-grooming is still necessary.

Do you remember the big "STORM" that Singapore had early this year, although base on the article it was a hoax that the woman got chased out of the train, but I believe she really did comb her underarm hair in public. I don’t know if she is really in the right state of mind, but who the hell will want to comb the underarm hair?!? Combing the hair there is not grooming, have it shove off then is grooming.

We have so much self-grooming to do everyday, so guys, stop complaining that we need to take at least 2hours of preparation time before our date, we are trying to save you from embarrassment okay! We need so much time to make sure that we are in a tiptop condition before you bring us out.

Ladies outta, do you know that constant shaving will cause damage & darkening of your skin? Even plucking is not the solution, it will start causing you ingrown hair issue & inflammation, so what is the best solution? I'm saying best solution & not permanent solution, just for your information, there no permanent solution to hair removing, it depends a lot on your hormones change, so far, other than IPL, I cannot think of any better solution, do share with me if you have any.

Anyway, I saw a promotion on "Today" paper lately, S$138, unlimited IPL session for underarm with no hidden cost till end September 2012, too good to be true right? Yes, I can't believe it as well till I went for consultation yesterday, IT TRUE!! S$138nett price, no hidden cost at all, GST & whatever nonsense taxes are already included in it & I got a facial massager for free too. Since many years back, I already planned to zapped off those unsightly hair, but I was held me back by the sky high charges, with this promotion, my problem is solved, I'm so happy.

Seriously, I always have the fear of stepping into any beauty parlour getting "attacked" by their non-stop hard selling tactics. At times I really don't wish to spend the additional money, but I have to salute to their hard selling skill , their "brain-washing" skills are so awesome, somehow I'll always fall for it. When they really failed to convince me, I also start to get worry, worry that since I not sign up for anything additional, will they still do a good job for me, so much concern, ARGH!!!

But, after my consultation experience with MUSEE PLATINUM TOKYO yesterday, I finally realise that there are still professionals in the beauty trade still, no hard selling at all. The main purpose of the consultation was to provide you with information on what is IPL about, what is the process that you need to go through & getting you both mentally & physically prepared for the session if you are ready to go for it. But please don't get the wrong idea, nothing to do with any "brain-washing session", it just fall in place as much as I planned it to be.

I will be going for my first appointment on this coming Thursday, seriously I'm so excited about it & I can't wait for Thursday to arrive & share my experience with all.

Upcoming PlanSss!!

Just happen to double check my upcoming schedule in my Outlook Calendar, WHOO!! I have so much planned lead ahead waiting for me, so excited & looking forward to!! Since from the FY start on April till now, guess how many days of leave I still left as of today, WOO!! 27.5day left, next FY we are only allow to bring forward 12 days instead of 16 days, minus all the planned leave till November, I still left with 9.5days to clear within 5 months in order to bring over 12days to the next FY, I always have this problem of clearing my leaves, I guess I really “love” my job too much in a way.

I have so much plan this coming October & November, the big event in October is my boyfriend’s 28th birthday & November is our 6th year anniversary together. As for my boyfriend’s birthday this year, I’m really running out of ideas what to get for him, let me recalled what I got for him the past years.

Initially I planned to booked a getaway trip for us at “Tree House Villas”, at the same time his friends can celebrate the day with him there. But his birthday fall on school holiday period, I’m not able to get the resort in time, so I have to give that a miss.

Since he going to move to his new place this month end, he gonna get a big room of his own, after much consideration, I gonna buy him a Yamaha’s Keyboard as present this year. But I have another big problem on this, I know nut about music, so how can I buy a keyboard without any background knowledge? It good to have friend like Jaimie, her social circle is so big, I happened to bought this issue up to her on our “bitching session”, she has a friend working in Yamaha which can help me on choosing & can get me a good discount at the same time, how wonderful is that. Wait till she came back with Jimmy from their Phuket’s trip, she will accompany me to shop for my boyfriend present.

As for November, our 6th year anniversary, to think about it time really flies in a blink of eyes, everything seem like just happened yesterday. Anyway, thanks to Uncle Yeo, he manage to get the ballot for me, we will be spending our 4days 3 nights together at “Tree House Villas”. To be exact, “Tree House Villas” actually is a chalet kind of resort, but I can ensure you that it is much more “atas” than the chalet that came right cross your mind now. I “steal” some photos that other post online to share with you all, as it is only available for booking by NS-man, so I cannot access onto the website for pictures. After looking at the photos, just tell me how you can find a chalet that look so gorgeous, I’m so looking forward for the day to come real soon.

Simplicity is the Felicity of Life

I see a lot of my colleagues post status on FB telling the whole world how much they hate the job & how hard they coping over it! This is something I don't understand as I really love my job even it can turn out to be real shitty at time too, but I learnt to accept all the shit that happen in my life, I believe everything happened for a reason, each encounter is a learning point for me.

Firstly, I think it very unprofessional when one does that. I'm your colleague, not close to you in anyway, to be exact we are only "hi" "bye" colleague, I believe you won't actually want to share this remarks with me, but I just happen to be in your friend list. Your boss is in your friend list too, so, what will he think about you?!? Before you make any nasty remarks in social media, think twice before you act, at least do some privacy setting.

Secondly, you actually spend more hours in the office as compare to the time you spend at home excluding sleeping time. If you really hate your job this much, I will advice you to quit this job & look for the ideal one which you think it suit you more, why torture yourself & people around you to bearing with your mood swing? Anyway, just an advice to you, there can never be a prefect job in this world.

Thirdly, it all about attitude. Everyone is born differently, you may be weak in an area, but I very sure each individual will have a strong area in them unless you are not open to option & unwilling to learn new thing. You can be a slow learner, but if you are willing to learn, nothing is impossible unless you shut yourself up. If that the case, you are totally helpless, you can cry to the whole world but no one can help you.

Be content, simplicity is a felicity in life, greed can never be fulfilled, world can never be prefect. Learn to adapt to changes, don't expect the world changed for you.

First MC since start of FY

I wasn’t feeling very well the past 2days, everything start with the non-stop sneezing on Monday night. Initially I thought that the sneezing is just cause by my sensitive nose, who know I actually caught a flu.

Wake up on Tuesday morning heading for work, my tummy wasn’t feeling very good, kinda of bloated, been running to toilet a couple of time since I reach office. The feeling was terrible, so I decide to take ½ leave & head home for a rest. My colleagues was saying why waste my leave, I should go see a doctor & take MC instead.

Log in to the CRM system to apply for MC, wow!! That a good achievement for me, since April till now I haven’t take an MC yet, my medical claim is still 500buck. Had a good rest yesterday but the feeling wasn’t so pleasant after all, as if there is butterfly in my tummy still & feeling kinda weak.

Weekend, can you please arrive faster, I need a good rest at home.

Busy Weekend

Phew!! Back to my working desk, I had a real busy weekend & I’m rather glad that it finally over.

On Saturday, I went for my annually Teacher’s Day meet-up with Sharon & Ms. Merlinda. We met up for a late lunch at Katong 112, before the other reach I went shopping around & I bought a “Mini” watch for Sharon from “Toy Post” as her advance birthday present. The watch is so lovely, I gonna get one for myself real soon.

Busy updating each other with our past 1 year encountered, sharing hot & juicy gossip of anything under the sun. Don’t you think it absolutely amazing, 10years back, she is still sitting in front of us as our teacher, 10years later, we are sitting together on the same table for lunch as friend. This relationship between us is really so hard to come by, I’m grateful & really appreciate the existence of this angel in disguise, she made a big different to my life, thank you Ms. Merlinda.

We ended our meet-up around evening time, so nice of Ms. Merlinda still drive us home before she head back. After dear finish his servicing at the car workshop, he went home for a shower before picking me up for YY’s birthday dinner.

We went to the usual place near his office for the usual fish-head steamboat, squeezing 14paxs on a table for dinner wasn’t an easy thing, all of us perspiring like hell throughout the dinner. The dinner was good, but we didn’t have much, both of us are watching closely on our diet so we are ready anytime for our wedding photo shoots.

After dinner, we head down to St. James, while waiting for the rest to arrival we encounter with a super rude man, really feel like giving him a slap. Initial start-up was a boring one, till the cocktails & shoots was serve into the room. We basic laugh throughout the session, seeing one got mad drunk is really an entertainment for other.

We end the session around 2.30am, while heading to Vivo & get the car was really embarrassing. We are like the centre of attraction as YY was making a big hoo haa around, running here & there, we are like playing catching in the public. Worst still, he told us that he cannot recall a damn thing that happened after we left St. James, the way they drink on every birthday session was really very bad for their health.

On Sunday, once I woke up from bed I start preparing myself of the day. Was told to go back to dear’s house on Sunday afternoon to eat bird-nest, his parent is really a great spender, they actually spend 1.2K on 500g of bird-nest without feeling a pinch.

I only had bird-nest from the bottle before, this is the first time for me to drink those home-cooked bird-nest. It was really good, his mum still add my favourite “gui hua” in it. To think about it, each individual bowl that we drank worth at least more than 100bucks. Like what dear say, I always gets to eat those good stuff ever since I’m with him, not forgetting the palm-sized abalone from “Tong Lunk” that time, that cost more than 200bucks each, one each for everyone, I’m so blessed.

After the bird-nest soup, time to head down to my grandparents place for dinner feast, my grandpa birthday celebration. This year I’m in-charge on the catering, I ordered from "Chilli Padi", some Nonya style dishes. The food was good, I'm glad that my grandpa love them all, other than the delivery time was far too early than expected, eveything was prefect. We was late so most of them start without us, so I didn't manage to take any photos on the food. I love the sea-cucumber dish & the crayfish with chilli crab sauce, they were awesome, having laska for catering was something new for us too.
