Last day of 2011

It the last day of 2011 today, but still, no plan for later, BORING!! This day last year I'm already at Desaru! One of the best new year eve ever!

Anyway I bought Dino for a new hair cut yesterday, nothing new, botak once again! Mum scold me for that, cos the weather was rather cold this few days!

Going for dinner soon, shall see if there anything interesting gonna happen later & update again :)

SURPRISE!! Blink blink watch

Today after my silly pick me up, he ask me be careful don't step on the thing in the car. Okay, I don't know why the hand phone holder from the dashboard is on my seat area, so I hold on to it while he drive off.

Not long after, he asked me why am I holding that, asked me to put back to where it belong. So, I opened the dashboard compartment, to my surprise it full in there! Saw a plastic bag with a box in it which dun belong there, so I took it out, ask dear what is it, he told me is a present for his dad birthday.

Told him I open it cos I want to see what he bought for his dad, OMG, it an Armani's blink blink watch!

I immediately say this even before he say the watch is for me,
"IT FOR ME RIGHT?!? U can't possibly buy a blink blink watch for you dad!! THANK YOU DEAR!"
Than I happily put on the watch!

For all information, even though I look big in my body build, but I have this big problem when buying a watch! My wrist size is impossibly small as compare to any skinny freak outta, so the watch's face is either too big for my wrist or the shortest chain length is too long for me too!

This watch face is bigger than my t, but it look okay still. Best of all, dear manage to ask the sale person to removed the excess chain, while putting it on, the chain length just fit nicely on my wrist! Moreover it BLINK BLINK!! Dear knows I love blink blink thingy!!

This is a surprise gift from him that I never even expect initially, like what he say, I know he don't celebrate Christmas, so I'm not expecting any Christmas gift from him!

I love the watch so much, but I love my dear more :D

If money can buy convenient, why not!!

For those who are my follower on my Twitter, they would have known that I spend quite a fair amount on my "transformation" lately.

If you were to phrase it that I'm "vain", it okay, I totally agree to it, but that will only be the partial reason, the main objective is "convenient".

For those prefect eyesight folks outta, you can jolly well shut up & save your comment on this, this is exactly what I said to my boyfriend too, if you are not short-sighted to the extend that you will become "blind" without the lens, you can never understand the joy of being "Len-free".

I total spent around 4.3k for my LASIK surgery, I agree it really great pinch to my pocket, leaving 1/2 of my bonus untouched just for this. It had been more than a month after my surgery, from the very day till now I had not regretting spending this amount, in another way I still feel that this amount is so well-spend rather than me buying those branded stuff!!

I can wake up in the morning with clear version everyday, not worrying about contact lens solution running out or eyes infection. I can stay out till late at night not afraid the my lens turn dry due to tired eyes, if I have suddenly decide to stay over at boyfriend's house last minute, I won't need to rush home to get my lens cover, solution & stuff. Need to travel quite often lately, without all these trouble, it makes my business trip so much convenient & easy.

One other thing I done is creative brows embroidery, unlike tattoo brows & normal brow embroidery, creative brow look so much natural, closed to real brows. Tested & proven, after my creative brow is done, basically none of the people can tell the different in me, this including my boyfriend.

For my brows, I spend around 300bucks, the result was good, but the process was a killer, I swear it hurt so much more as compare to putting my real tattoo on my back few years back. I guess is due to their medication did not put long enough & the skin around the eyes around are more tender! But do not get scared by what I say, cos after my experience, I went to the shop again to accompany my sis to get her brow done, this time I insist them to leave the medication long enough that my sis don't feel a single pinch, so nice of me right? Lolz!

Anyway don't ask me the different even tattooed brows, embroidery brows & creative brows, if you are interested to know, please go & google it, if not you can just step into a beauty parlons, I'm very sure the consultant is more than willing to explain to you.

By the way, 300bucks for creative brows was a good grab in the market, I was lucky enough to visit the shop during their promotion period for their new outlet opening. If not, after the price research I done previous, the average price for creative brows services is charged at the range from 500-1000SGD.

Expensive ah? It the workmanship that count, just a brief description what is a creative brows, the beautian will draw the outline of your brows stroke by stroke, if you are not detail enough, you will thought that is real brows hair, but actually is stroke of ink insert to your skin surface.

After the creative brows done, it solve my problem of drawing unbalance brows & I look perfectly ready to step out of my house anytime looking presentable.

If eyes is the window of soul, then the brows will be the window frame! How can the window go without any frame :)

Now I have a slightly longer sleeping time everyday, I can wake up a little later everyday, all I need to do is shower, powdered my face & I'm all ready for work, isn't it wonderful? If money can buy convenient within your mean, why not, time is priceless, why waste it in all these misc thingy!

Epson D&D 2011 - Masquerade Ball

No matter how low I kept my profile in office, being anti-social most of the time, this did not stop my colleagues from "loving" me. Out of the 200staffs in Epson, I was 1 of the "lucky" 7 selected for our company RC for the year of 2011!

This is my honour, but wasn't a good news for me initially, or even till now, this is a 吃力不讨好的工, you can't please every single one in the office, never can you achieve the best of both world!

Thanks for the love from all my colleagues that vote me to RC team this year, seriously I don't appreciate this love from you guys at all, & actually I hate this job!! Got to know from the chairman last year, among all the 7 team members, I got the 2nd highest vote, I don't know if this is something I should be happy about!

Anyway, the biggest event of the year has come to an end, Annual Company D&D. I'm feeling really glad that I got a good team this year, we manage to organise a great event for all even after so many months of preparation, the whole D&D was a success!

Last Friday, whole company was release as early as 3pm for this event. Once the clock strike 3pm, everyone was busy dolling up themselves making sure that they are looking good for the night event, that including me too!

After my make-up done, we did a last check before we head off to Jewel box at Mt. Faber to have another briefing with the event company & Jewel box personal.

I would say the whole session still consideration a smooth run, of cos there always some idiots pissing me off, lucky I manage to control my temper well enough that day & remain cool through out.

Not going into details, I shall let the photos to do the talking. I was too busy during the event, so I actually "steal" most of the photo from my colleagues, no time for photography that day, photos are not in order, random arrangement!

Santa Claus is coming. . . to town!

I love December, the season of giving. Always packed with tons of events & got myself mad broke in this month!!

D&D tomorrow, Masquerade Ball theme, the week after I will be heading to Bintan over the weekend with dear's family!

Last week of December is time to celebrate dear's dad birthday & christmas actual day.
All I want for Christmas. . . is YOU!! Lolz :D

After the busy December ended, first week of January 2012 I'll be heading for a meeting in Jakarta, gonna be away for 4days in this business trip!

BUSY BUSY BUSY!!

My Point of View

The weather was really crazy yesterday, been to so many car marts in the afternoon with dear & Jimmy to source for GTI & we got ourselves really soaking wet. But everything was worth it for me as I got to see the rainbow which I had been longing for so long!

I wasn't very happy about the movie arrangement Steven made yesterday, he is such a self-centre person that never spare a thought for any other. Initial plan was to watch "Already Famous", he was the one who do the booking, he called & say most of the seats was taken in GV, so we suggested him to try Film Garde, Shaw etc.

He watapp the rest saying the booking done, 9.30pm at Kallang Leisure Park, but Jimmy wanna double checked on the show timing, so he went to the website to checked. He was shock to see that the movie was not available at that timing, so he called Steven to double confirm if he got the right cinema, he just say he already forward the email confirmation to dear & ask him to check.

Who the hell will check the email when we are out, he book "White Revenge" instead, his explanation was he made the wrong booking. But thing wasn't like what we were told, he made the decision for us without even informing us or asked if we wanna watch the show. Throughout the movie, he kept talking to dear telling him the story & what gonna happen, it really very irritating. After the movie, all of us was like WTF the movie was about, I spent 2 & 1/2 in the cinema extremely bored & restless, who the hell cared what the China history is about when I'm totally not interested about it. So pissed, he still got the cheek to collect the tickets money from us.

After the movie while we are smoking near the entrance, we witness a fight break out between some young China chaps, the fight was a really fierce one, they fight till the middle of the road & one of them nearly got run down by car, everyone just gathered around them & watched, can't believe that some even took out their hand phone & start snapping away.

Suddenly a big size angmoh run out from the mall & went between them to break them up, during this process, he suffered a few punches & was pushed hard on the road too. He managed to stop the fight eventually but can see that he got injured too, he is just a passerby like everyone of us there watching, but he chose not to stand there & do nothing.

I'm so ashamed to claim that I'm a Singaporean at time, that the different between us. When problems occurred, we will chose to "hide", but still want to "kaypo" witnessing it but no one is willing to help, our concept is "not my problem, why get me involve for nothing, can siam, I will siam" Like what other always say, Singaporean are all "Kia-su" & Kia-si", at time when I hear such insult, I really feel like standing out to defend for Singaporean, but me myself know very well, even though there are still a handful of helpful Singaporean around, but majority of us are like that, there no way we can denied, that the fact, I'm like that some time too.

I really salute the angmoh bravery, how many of us can stand out like him? Singaporean kept complaining about the increase of PR & oversea talents, this situation is a very good example, I agree that there are a lot of trouble-makers like these young China chaps creating such negative impression to us, but at the same time, there are many helpful oversea talents in the society too, that angmoh is an good example, they chose to help us to make a different in our country, there a lot of thing we can learn from them. Why must we be so negative about every single one of them outta?

I know that "complaining" is one of Singaporean favourite past-time, but rather wasting our time just keep complaining without any action done, we should do something to make a different instead.

You can agree or disagree to my view, I can say that such debating issues there no definite right or wrong answer to it, even if you disagree to me, I won't say it wrong, this solely depending on individual point of view.

Day out with 2 Ladies

I went to so many malls today, was at Parkway with Cat in the afternoon & Jo came over to join us! Had a coffee together & gave Jo her advance birthday present, glad that she love it, it a Swarovski's Hello Kitty collection necklace!! Yah, that not cheap, but I always believe that we shouldn't put a "price tag" to the people we treasure, cos their presence in my life are priceless :)

After Cat left, we head over to 2 new shopping mall in the east side, Katong 112 & Changi City Point shopping mall!! Luckily today damage wasn't that high, just got myself a blink blink phone button & a pair of heel!! I love my new heel, it just soooo cute, MAD LOVE!!
