Simplest, yet the Sweetest Valentine

No fanciful flower, present or dinner for this valentine, promise to be thrifty on every cents we spend & get prepared for our wedding celebration in 2014, just a simple date for the 2 of us.

My boyfriend came over to pick me up after his work, asking him where he driving me to, he just tell me this year theme is "Back to the Good Old Day".

He drove me to the carpark under my old house, he say we gonna recapped the path we used to take.

Remembered back in the secondary school days, he used to wait for me under my flat, & we will make our way to school together. Isn't this the sweetest way to spend our valentine? Of cos we did bought up a lot of good old memories & laugh together in the stroll.

Initially we decide to hop on any bus that arrive at the bus stop first & bring us to any destination we feel like stopping, that is part of the dating session in the past, but sadly, no extra ezlink card so we decide to give it a miss, just let our Type R do the job.

Spinning around on the road & can't decide what to eat, finally come out with a conclusion on having "xiao long bao" & "la-mian", good weather to have something soupy. Just the type of food both enjoy is just as good, not necessary on places which are classy & expensive.

Drizzle for the whole day, not able to have our stroll on the beach, so we went for a drink at "Sunset Bay" instead. Looking at the watch it only 10.30pm, we decide to end our day early sticking to our theme, still remember I can't stay out till too late back in my teenage day, lolz!!

This is one of the simplest & sweetest Valentine Day I ever had.

CNY

Today, CNY day 3, still consider a public holiday for majority white collar. Choose the wrong day to help my mum to re-contract her mobile plan, gotten my queue number at 1515hours, estimated 3hours waiting time, 2hours had past, there still 51 customers ahead of me!! WTF!!

Sitting at Haagen Dazs now, my ice cream bowl has been empty for quite a long while, my coffee in the latte glass is close to finishing & I'm still waiting!

Since I got so much free time, decide to share my CNY photos in my blog, just a few to share, did not take much of photos this year, unlike the past year, this CNY is extremely quiet in a way. Not quite used to it, but I guess everyone will adapt to it real soon.

CNY coming

Time flies, it February now. Lack of update for the month of January as I’m kinda loss of speech in many events. Those are not any happy events for me, I’m not going to touch on any of those, just let the unhappy past bygone with the time.

More or less my wedding venue had firm up, as planned, MBS is still our first choice. But currently their 2014 wedding is not out yet, it will only be available around end of February or early March, so, we had Hotel Fort Canning as my back-up choice.

Actually I love Hotel Fort Canning heritage design, it is consider as an iconic heritage hotel in Singapore which was built in 1926, used as the administration building of the British Far East Command HQ. There only 86 rooms in Hotel Fort Canning, a 5-stars city-resort located in the heart of city.

Enough of my wedding preparation, at this point of time, I should be more prepared for the upcoming CNY preparation instead. Can't believe that CNY is this coming weekend, so fast, this gonna be my second last year to receive angbao.

Actually I'm more looking forward for the long break instead, 10days of break from work this time.
