fArttArtz Cafe @ Singapore Expo

I was browsing on Facebook news feed one day and I came to know about this café by the name of fArttArtz. The name sound so strange to me but I was attracted by the desserts photos in their Facebook page, told myself that I gonna visit this place real soon, moreover it located in the eastern part of Singapore, wasn't easy to find a good concept café located in the east. Let wait no more, here I am, one week later after I came to know about this place.

It hard to find a right companion that have the same strange habits like me, enjoy trying a varieties of new, attractive looking foods, most important of all, love taking nice foods photos. A lot of people think that I'm a freak, keep snapping photos of foods when it served & will get rather impatience about my bad habit when we head out for meals together. Luckily I have Elaine accompany today, we spend lot of time taking pictures of the food and café design, continuously snapping till we get the right angles of the output.

fArttArtz Café is located at 1 Expo Drive, #02-04, to be more detail, it at 2nd level of Max Atrium, Foyer 1. Do take note of their operating time so you won't make a waste trip there, from Monday to Thursday, their operating hours is from 8am to 6pm, from Friday to Sunday will be 8am to 8pm. In order to meet their operating hours, me & Elaine leave our office on the dot & rush over there today.
Let now take a look at the cafe layout:

It a very cosy place and nicely decorated with gardening tools to meets their theme, their signature desserts that served in pot. Today I was served by a young lady when I arrival, I would like to compliment their service, it was excellent. She clearly introduce me to their different types of desserts and keep insisting me to try on the samples of different favour so I can make the right choice for my dessert.

While waiting for Elaine to reach, ordered a Ice Hazelnut Latte. The straw used to serve the drink was so cute & it made from paper. It doesn't worked very well on me as I have a bad habit of biting straw. It took me like 2 hours to finish my drink, so the straw eventually become a little soft in texture, but it still functioning well as a straw still.

After Elaine reach we ordered our main for dinner first before we head for the dessert. Their main course selection was limited, initially I order a pepper chix pasta in a jar, but sadly it was sold out, so I went for something out of the norm instead, their chilled prawn pasta in the jar. It was nice, some different and special too, the prawns are very fresh.

Elaine head for a healthier choice, she go for salad as her dinner. She ordered a fusion salad with a honey melon hot tea. Their salad was served in a jar too, you have to add the dressing into the jar & shake the bottle to mixed it well before eating, isn't that interesting?

The potion of the main might seem small, but the content of it was rather filling! But that not an excuse for not ordering their desserts, actually the main motion for the both of us was to try their dessert, how can we give that a miss! This theory always work for me, "Never too full for dessert".
We order 3 different creations. First was their Matcha-misu that served in a flower pot.

Elaine choose a Bailey Chocolate Tart.

And lastly, my choice of Mango short tart.

Seriously the desserts not only taste good, each individual looked so pretty too. Really can't bear to eat it but we can't resist the temptation of sweet treats either. Took lots of picture of the pretty desserts before we tuck in.

Feeling so full still even hours after my meal. Highly recommend their desserts, really worth trying! Oh yah, not to forget about this, if you gonna eat till mad full like us today, do remember to bring more cash. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that their food is very expensive, I would say that it a reasonable price to pay for the ambience and the effort spent of doing up such pretty desserts. But the mode of payment at fArttArtz Cafe is cash only!

Our Visit to Trick Eye Museum Singapore

With the increasing of KPOP fever over these years, I guessed that most of the people have heard of this famous attraction in Korea, Trick Eye Museum. This museum was established in 2010 in Seoul, Jeju & Busan, popularity of this attraction gain so rapidly in just this short period of time using "optical illusion" which transform 2D painting into 3D effect.

Now, Trick Eye Museum has officially venture oversea, their very first stop is Singapore, I'm so excited about their opening in June, just can't wait to visit the place, but June is a bad timing to visit such attraction as it fall into the June school holiday period.

Finally I pay visit to Singapore's Trick Eye Museum 2days back, I will say that the experience was amazing
Me, Jo and Andy planned our leave together on a weekday to visit the attraction in order to avoid the crowd & able to get good angles for our photos. The admission ticket is at 25bucks per person, the place wasn't big, within 1.5hrs and we are done, but we had great fun in there!

I'll try to keep my description of the place as short as possible and let the photos do the talking instead. I have so much nice photos to share, took around 300 photos that day, but I will just select some nice photos, mainly individual shots to upload in this entry, but all other photos had already uploaded in my facebook album.
When you first step into the museum, what expecting you will be the "World of Masterpieces". The theme is mainly on "frame", we went happily snapping photos as the place wasn't that crowded at the time of our visit.
Next we went on to "Safari Kingdom".
Follow by "Star of Circus"
I love this section the most, "Dreams of Fairytales", make me have the feeling of going into the books I read before.
Now we headed into "Love in Winter"
And finally into the "Adventure Discovery"
Looking at all these photos outcome may seem amazing to you, but you have not know what we went through in order to take these nice photos. We have to climb the platform, lay on the floor etc, I have so much blueblack on my legs now, but I'm sure it all worth it.
I shall end this long photo entry with just some random photos took in Sentosa, time to get back to my books and be prepared for my exam next week.
It a long weekend ahead, do enjoy the Singapore 49th Birthday celebration tomorrow!!
