Happy Day

Today is a HAPPY day!! On my way back home after my lesson now, self declaration of ending early as we are done with our group presentation! We start off as the first team doing the presentation & "wow" majority of the people in class.

First time doing presentation without speaking a single word with the help of technology! We used a software to create a video on our presentation instead of the usual PowerPoint slide. Not only that, we even used a "voice out" technical to speak on behalf for us. We bought alot of stress to all reminding groups behind us, feel so good! After the presentation alot of classmates come bugging us checking what software we use & how we do it.

Right after the presentation, I log in to HDB website to check our flat status, double joy, after a long wait finally we got a key collection date, we are going to be official house owner in no time. Seriously I can't wait for the day to come, feeling so excited!! YIPEE!! It not a house to me, it a home that we gonna created!

Stormy Weather

One big issue about staying in the landed property is that each & individual household need to take care of their own maintenance issue, if not, the community need to take care of it.

Woke up early & head out for work as usual, when I head over to the main gate heading to the bus stop, to my surprise, the main gate cannot open. The stormy weather yesterday night cause the magnetic door go haywire this morning, I missed my bus & gonna be late for work.

Called my mother-in-law for assistance, not only the side gate, even the main gate for the car to the basement carpark is not working. OMG, need to call the maintenance guy again. Finally the gate can be open by the transporter in my father-in-law’s car, as I’m late so I hitched a ride with my in-law, so nice of them for sending me to work as my hubby is still in his la la land.

Sometime, it not really such a good idea for a house too depending on the technology.
