I was thinking of going on "Tulip's Theme" for my wedding, I'm a total tulipmania, a total insane tulip lover! So, I did alot of homework, thinking of how can I DIY some tulip stuffs for my wedding & I found this idea of nylon flower making.
Initially I thought sourcing for materials is never a difficult task for me as I can get all my materials from "Spotlight", but I was wrong!! Big mistake, it so difficult to find a place that sell nylon cloth & thread. After searching high & low for a period of time, finally I got all stuff ready yesterday evening.
I can say making nylon flower is not a very hard task, but is very time consuming & require a lot of patience, especially when doing up the petals.
After completing the dull & boring petals making session, it time to assemble the flower, I can say this is the fun part, when you see the petals form up a flower, a sense of accomplishment feeling filled.
And there my very first tulips, TADAH!!!!
Okay, I know it not fantastic, but I'm very sure I gonna make it perfect after some practicing. Not only tulip, I also tried out rose making. Rose making is really not easy, I think I will still stick with my tulips.
While I was doing the petals in office during lunch hour today, one of my colleague suggest me to use this flower as my wedding favour. Seriously I love that idea, but it really no joke doing 300pcs of flowers at least, really no time for this.
Need to think twice, or even thrice before I start working on it, work, school & wedding preparation, time are running out, even if you give me 72hrs a day I also dare not commit!
I done up a tulip decor for my office desk, this gonna brighten me up a little on my lousy day at work.
Once I got home this evening I try out my very first trial on my flower pen. I decide to try on some other flower design first before I use on tulip. TADAH..... What do you think?!? Is this flower pen presentable enough for my guests to sign on my guest book during my wedding?!? Lolz!!
